The thousand-year-old Bizantine literary production bears witness to the vital spiritual continuity of Hellenic culture from the end of antiquity to the beginning of the modern age. Of the many varied literary expressions of this civilisation, this section of SPOLIA will privilege the one that constitutes my own main field of research, hagiography.
